Church Weekend - Acceler8
For 2008, we will join with other churches from around the Wessex region for Acceler8.
Over 1000 people attended, we are hoping for even more in 2009.
Taking place at the New Forest showground from 22nd-25th August 2008, this was a great
time for building friendships and enjoying Gods presence.
Registration fees
Adult - £90, Student - £60, Child - £30
Day Visit passes:-
Friday & Monday - £15 per day
Saturday & Sunday - £30 per day (£15 for concessions)
All carers for disabled guests may attend at no charge
What's happening at Acceler8? Programme from 2008
Friday Site opens at 10 a.m., arrive during the afternoon to set up your tent, before an all age
celebration at 7.30 p.m. in the evening (don't forget to allow for bank holiday traffic)
Saturday Morning celebrations for children and adults (9.30 a.m. & 10 a.m.). In the afternoon,
tournaments and parachute display, followed by a youth celebration (6.45 p.m.) and gigs (9 p.
m.) in the evening
Sunday Morning celebrations for children and adults (9.45 & 10 a.m.). In the afternoon, more
fun with tournaments, followed by an evening celebration at 7 pm for children & adults
Monday All age celebration in the morning (10 a.m.), then time to pack up your tent and go
home after lunch. The site closes at 4 pm
There is going to be a fantastic Sports Arena where ‘It’s a knockout’ is going to be held on
Saturday afternoon and football & volleyball tournaments are going to be held on the Sunday
afternoon (subject to change). This is going to be a great chance for people of all abilities to
have lots of fun with a dose of healthy competition thrown in as well!

FAQ
- Pets - yes, your dog is allowed to attend, but must be kept on a lead at all times
- There is no electric hook-up available for caravans
- A full Kids Work Programme will be available
- There are temporary toilets and showers on site
- Cars must be kept off-site, so please plan accordingly
- No creche will be available during meetings
